Sorry, I wasn't so sure where to post this ;A;
But I just wanted to know how others make their pvs for covers/originals/releases.
I've been using my cousin's vegas pro on my old laptop, so whenever i try and do anything complicated, it freaks out on me and crashes.
I pretty much only know how to do things like this where a paste an image of the character over the original pv-

I want to know how to do things more like this with some sort of wave effect--

or even a simple video in picture like--

Thanks in advance, and sorry if i posted in the wrong place ;;

I don't know how to do the wave effect, but with the video in picture, make a picture with a spot transparent for a video (preferably about the proportions of the video) and then overlay it on top, and shrink the video into it. At least.. that's what I'd do since I have Premiere Elements /kicks

Any sort of active-time WAV effect or even volume bars and such is only possible in the program Adobe After Effects (or possibly really small/obscure/expensive ones). I looked into it extensively and came up with that unfortunate answer.

First you're going to need a video editing software for one that's not windows moive maker.
I recommend a NLE (non linear editor) like Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas or Video-pad (this one's free).
Everything else is done as multiple overlays using multiple video. So...
let's take the Yorune Mimi video.
The wave would be in video-track one,
the picture would be in a video track above the wave, it would use the overlay effect (to put it over the video) and the opacity effect (to give it that transparent look).
the subtitles would be in two different video tracks or one video track (depends on how you wish to do it), above the picture,
the audio would be in the audio track after you've mixed it separately.
And thus video.
PS you can get a that specific wave effect by searching:equalizer video loop, there's loads of them online.

For the Teto video:
You would make the Teto picture in video-track 1
Then the PV would be overlay-ed and in track 2. You would re-size it and move it with in the confides of the preview screen you're looking at.
Now you're done.
