The list is split up into different sections, so it depends on what kind of samples I need to get out of the recording. There are 1 to 4 fourth notes worth of sounds per recording! I guess the definitions of "strung" and "unstrung" don't apply to this method now. But the vowel combination section is what I think we'd define as "unstrung" since it's only getting one oto per recording.
And yes! You can edit and add and reduce the list all you want. Though I recommend keeping the core the same, if only for the sake of trying to create some kind of consensus in the English UTAU community. xD But I can only do so much about that.
I've also added a lot of optional recordings for different accents and whatnot. The Extra section contains things like other CC combinations which are super fun to use, but not needed for understandable English, CCV, VCC, VCV, glottal stops, and extra vowels. And if anyone finds other useful things to add down the line, I'll add it!
Oh . Okay. I'll probably make an add on for Japanese since I like bilingual banks and I may try out some of the extra section.
