Hello all, we are DynamiVox (a combination of “dynamics” and “vox” for sound), a group of some devoted individuals working on projects for music producers and fans from the vocal synthesis community!
We’re introducing VocalSynth.io, which is a collection of related projects and services.
Our goal with VS.io is to bring you services that are oriented specifically to our own community. Others have attempted to bring this idea to life, but unfortunately have been unsuccessful in bringing it to fruition.
Being a part of the community, we understand what the community wants.
VocalSynth.io came to us from the positive response to the project’s predecessor, which came in the form of VocalSocial. This led to us wanting to broaden out the idea of VocalSocial, turning it into a long term project to host a variety of services designed for the community.
We kicked off VocalSynth.io by rebooting and redesigning VocalSocial as VocalSynth.Space. It’s a
community-interaction based social networking site. It’s similar to a forum, reminiscent to Reddit, but still unique in its user experience. Unlike other similar sites, we don’t actively limit and censor users’ actions, and we let them create their own experience. While we still monitor what’s being said for safety, we firmly believe in the freedom to talk about what you want, how you want.
tl;dr: We started VSio with VSS, which is a casual social media site for the vocal synth community.
Upon the release of VocalSynth.Space, we immediately began the conception of a cloud site. VocalSynth.Cloud is a file hosting and sharing platform that is created specifically for all people who want to keep their vocal synth works together. VSC came to being due to a need for creators to have a safe and easy to use site to store their files. We make sure that copyright violations are dealt with properly, and protect those whose works might get stolen on our site.
tl;dr: We created it because creators who create need a safe place created to keep their created creations safe.
VocalSynth.wiki is an informational wiki, like Wikipedia, for people to learn about historical vocal synthesis technologies and methods from yesteryear and the new technologies of today.
Being an open wiki site, anyone can contribute as much as they want!
VocalSynth.Audio is an audio sharing site similar to SoundCloud, making it easier to find original songs and covers by users within our communities. Accounts are measured in megabytes and you are provided more space than what SoundCloud gives for free.
You can share any audio you want, it doesn't have to be just vocalsynth related. Feel free to post and share what you got!
This is only the start! We are on the verge of launching many more services. Among them are a gallery/art site like an enhanced deviantART, and a radio streaming service to promote upcoming English vocal synth music producers. We hope you bear with us throughout the year, and we’re excited for what the future will bring. See ya! --The VSio & DynamiVox Team
