Well personally I think a soft female vocal would go well with this song, as the off vocal is quite harsh but cool.
As for a topic... what about a dystopian love story between man and machine? (Totally not tacky or anything)
For improvements, maybe make it a little clearer where the singing is supposed to start.

for the vocals, i was planning on using my UTAU pomona, she has softer vocals (and a scream bank)
I'll work on making the singing parts clearer in the music ^^
