Voicebank making "thump" noise instead of singing

Yesterday, I tried making a Jinriki VB of Whitty from FNF. I think I did everything right, but when I tried to test the VB (Note, I only have "ゆ" so far.) and play a note, it made this weird "thump" noise, almost as if I had recorded myself using the trackpad on my laptop, instead of singing.

I have tried making the recording louder, and no, I cant use my own voice, since I cant go as deep as him.

I get this message when I load the voicebank if it helps any:


What's going on here?

1. Did you oto the voicebank?
2. Is the wav file a 16-bit 44100hz monotrack?
3. If it still doesn't work you could try using moresampler, it gets rid of the thump for me usually

Maybe your consonant length is too short. Try putting the pink part over the recording a ways and see if that helps

For the preutterance, try leaving it at zero
