i wanna make an utau song for my friend but i have no idea how to use it and all the voice banks i download are silent when i put it in the app i set my locale to japan why isnt anything working someone please help

If you're using Japanese voicebanks, you need to input Japanese lyrics in accordance with the voicebank format. Here are a few examples.
CV romaji: ka | e | ru | no | u | ta | ga
CV hiragana: か|え|る|の|う|た|が
VCV:- か|a え|e る|u の|o う|u た|a が
CVVC: - か|a え|e r|る|u n|の|o う|u t|た|a g|が
CV romaji: ka | e | ru | no | u | ta | ga
