For the first one,
Q1.1 - Things that play around in the sky in January/The New Years period, 2 Hiragana characters (Or something to this effect LMAO im not sure how this grammar works out-- but by this logic I figure it's kites! And kite is たこ
Q1.2 - Most recent Heisei Era Zodiac Animal, 4 Hiragana characters. That was the Boar, so いのしし
Q2 - Things that float in the sky (Clouds) / Not an insect, but an Arthropod (Spider) / Common word or term (it's a homonym), 2 Katakana characters. That's クモ (which means both spider and cloud)
Tested both, they work. These are easy questions for people who dont have to google or use a translator, but hard for people who do. Im not sure I'll have time to breakdown the second link for you but maybe knowing the logic I used a little will help.
Edit: For that Q2 in the second one, that is a particularly baffling translation. I recommend going word by word with a plugin/reader like rikaichamp rather than I assume autotranslation? It's asking something about the older brother's preference in cup noodle flavour lol nothing to do with potatoes
