Yamako

Yamako is a demon who has very little memory about her past. It is assumed that an event or culmination thereof rendered her voice broken and almost lost. Although she isn’t in pain, her voice is constantly cracking and sometimes hard to understand. She is often asked by others if she is sick or hurting, which she rarely is. Yamako usually remains quiet and finds it hard to socialize. Her appearance sometimes scares people away, which embarrasses her. Yamako is often seen with her friend, Cherilee. Cherilee attempts to solve the mystery of Yamako’s past, but more often than not, she tends to drag her along on her own adventures. Yamako carries a cylindrical container on her person, though she’s unsure how to open it to see what’s within. She spends most of her time inside reading.
