Mic problems =(

I have a problem =(
Last week I bought a second hand Blue Snowball microphone.
It's fine, but when I record something and I use the recordings on UTAU they sound scratchy and "out of tune".
I think that the problem isn't the microphone, but my laptop's sound card (and it shouldn't be a problem, because in a month or two I'll have a new and better pc).
I'm not sure and I'm quite worried because I spent my money on something that is broken...
Someone had a similar experience?

Generally, Blue Snowball microphones don't work the best for UTAU voicebanks. To fix the off tune sound, try setting the MOD to 0.

I think this isn't the problem... and many great UTAU voicebanks (like Aki Hantsuki for example *^*) are recorded with this mic...
By the way the difference between the recording and how it sounds in UTAU is too much 0.0
