Hey Guys.
This is a post regarding Live Discussions that I plan on doing Via Skype and Google Hangouts.
The goal of this is to help get newcomers started off and even teach longer term users a few things.
(Because not everyone knows everything, there's always things to learn so don't limit yourself)
While tutorials and resources are nice, nothing beats that experience of live lessons and being able to ask questions.
We will have a curriculum and a lesson plan. Classes are not necessarily mandatory, but missing too many will course you to fall behind and may warrant your removal.
The first classes have already started! You may watch them via the YouTube archive!
Note: We are not looking for instructors at this time. Please do not ask to be a teacher as only those with a confirmed minimum skill level will be approved.
Schedule:
Classes are held every SATURDAY at 5PM EST.
Curriculum:
The Goal of the current class is to walk new users throguh the steps of voicebank creation. From recording/Pronounciation, editing, OTO/Configuring, to eventually using UTAU features and functions to make a potentially high-quality result with nearly any vocalist.
The following Main topics are hoped to be taught with sub topics in between:
BASIC AND INITIAL COURSES
ADVANCED COURSES*
MISCELLANEOUS COURSES/LESSONS
Guide to UTAU-Synth** (Instructor Not Assigned)
Basics and Interface
OTO
*ADVANCED Topics will require attendance and satisfactory results in the BASIC course due to the difficulty of the topics.
Public versions will be released in the future that are adapted for non-attendees.
**Please Watch the Windows UTAU courses for supplementary information, These Classes will not be part of the main courses and do not get graded. These classes will not be instructed by JeyBird and may have Guest-Tutoring.

Homework Assignments:
(This is for Pre-Class assignments. Used to grade Students and determine where they need reinforcement)
EX: Record a VB for next class, you will be graded on the pronunciation (Bonus: "Quality makes Perfect", Samples recorded with better practices will get an extra letter)
Lesson and Class Archives:
(This is where past classes will be kept so others can watch an learn from them at later dates)
