wont sing

so i know this is a common problem, but for some reason an utauloid i have, kazehiki,wont sing. ive made a cover with him before and it worked perfectly fine. and when i try using defoko it works, just not with kazehiki for some reason. his oto is fine too im pretty sure. im not really sure whats wrong, maybe im just being stupid idk im new to utau

also it doesnt say anything, it just doesnt play the notes when i try.

This may be because the UST and the voicebank may not match. Defoko is a CV voicebank, so she can read hiragana usts with singular syllables like な or う. Romaji CV USTs use it like 'na' or 'u'.

The kazehiki voicebank that it sounds like you're using reads VCV USTs, so the sounds would look like '- な' or 'a う'. Because you are using a strictly VCV voicebank for a CV UST, it won't make sound because the voicebank's oto is not made for it.
