Hi everyone. I am a beginner with UTAU covers, and right now I am facing a BIG inconvenience:
Whenever I select some notes and press play, UTAU spends A LOT of time loading the files and playing them. I will try to explain a bit more.
When I press play after selecting some notes, this screen appears:
(as far as I know that's the normal thing)
the problem is that those 11 notes started loading at 2:04pm
And they finally played at 2:18
14 MINUTES FOR 11 NOTES TO LOAD AND PLAY aAAAAh
Yesterday I tried to play the whole ust because I was done tuning. It took 5 whole hours to load the whole ust.
FIVE. WHOLE. HOURS.
It wasn't even that long. And it's the same thing with other usts.
Some stuff that may be relevant and may be the source of the problem:
- I use the TIPS resampler and the default UTAU resampler for all the voicebanks I have.
- I use the normal UTAU wavtool
- My tuning is not that heavy
- I use mostly VCV voicebanks.
Please, if anyone knows why this is happening, I would appreciate it a lot if you helped me. This problem consumes a great part of my time, and it's not fun to wait 30 minutes for 10 seconds of singing (or waiting FIVE HOURS FOR TWO MINUTES OF SINGING).
