1. Copy and paste "utaugrowl.exe" to the same folder as the resampler you want to use. For example, if you want to use TIPS+utaugrowl, put utaugrowl.exe in the same folder as TIPS.exe
2. Change the name of utaugrowl.exe to the same as the resampler, with "_ug" at the end. In this example, it will be "TIPS_ug.exe"
3. In UTAU, go to Project > Project Property > Select the new file for Tool 2 (resample). In this example, select "TIPS_ug.exe"
4. Use the w flag in Rendering Options or in the Flags box of Note Properties to increase growl. It goes from w0 for no growl to w100 for maximum growl.

It's pasted and everything but won't do shit
[doublepost=1587705939][/doublepost]Rioki legit won't growl and I have it set to w30
[doublepost=1587706131][/doublepost]It's like the UST is refusing to register Utaugrowl. Is it because it's named TN_fnds_PB_UG?

[doublepost=1587707081][/doublepost]I literally want to see how his growl works before I even do anything with ghost rule

Dude seriously. I'm trying to make a utau growl and you're legit ignoring that. If you offer to help someone don't just leave one thing and ignore them when that didn't work bc of several factors

Please calm down. You asked how to use utaugrowl and I've already given you the instructions on how to do so.
utaugrowl has a subtle effect even when the w flag is set to 100. As a reference, here is some audio with no flags, with w50, and with w100: https://clyp.it/y5afmjll
Here are some alternative methods on how to create a growl-type vocal.

Use moresampler. The flag MG controls growl, which ranges from 0 to 100. Here's a sample using no flags, MG50, and MG100: https://clyp.it/njijdksu

Use extreme vibrato settings. This technique has the added advantage of working with any resampler, and on both Mac and Windows.
Right click on a note and open the Pitch settings. Set Length to 100, Depth to 200, In and Out both to 0, and finally type in "18" in Cycle. Do not click on anything else in the window. As soon as you've typed 18, press the Enter key on your keyboard to save the pitch settings.

This is what it sounds like without vibrato and with these vibrato settings: https://clyp.it/xmznc1vv

The configuration in your own screenshot appears to be correct.

If you attempt to play the UST and there is complete silence, there may be a mistake in configuration, in which case you will have to double check that the files are set up correctly.

If you attempt to play the UST and there is normal audio without any growl effect, double check that "UTAUGROWL" appears in the black command window when you are rendering. If UTAUGROWL is there, then the configuration is correct and UTAUGROWL is working.

Small amounts of the w flag are not easy to hear. This is what utaugrowl sounds like with no flags, with w50, and w100: https://clyp.it/y5afmjll
If you are unhappy with these results, please try an alternative method for growling-style vocals that I've explained in my previous post.
