Simple question about otoing

Hey utaforum squad

I've recorded a cv bank that sounds pretty nice so far!

However, some sounds are a bit sluggish in the consonant department. One common offender is 'so' in the b3 pitch.

It's mainly just soft consonants that I have this issue with.

So uh, hopefully this helps.

One- Look at the waveforms that have this issue. Does the consonant bit look abnormally long and sound a bit stretched out (ssssssa, for example)? If so, then you should probably rerecord that one.
If not....
Two- how much consonant velocity was used on the UST? There might be too little or too much there. Play with the numbers a bit, and see (or rather, hear) if there's a difference.
