Is It Okay to Use Utalistener for Making USTs?

I heard many of the people said that utalistener can give kinda a realistic feeling to the UST. And most of the people said it is like cheating since Utalistener just needs to use your recording or vocal to convert it into USTs, other than using the traditional way, which is MIDI-ing.

Since I'm not good at MIDI-ing (especially when it comes to making covers) and I wanted to create songs that gives a little bit of realistic tune to it.

Is it okay just to use Utalistener for making songs?

Utalistener doesn't work the way I think you think it does. Utalistener only copies pitchbends of a wav file to a UST that is already open in UTAU. It cannot create a UST from your wav file for you.

But in a world where it could do that, no. It wouldn't be 'cheating'. You can only 'cheat' with UST making if you use someone else's UST and pass it off as your own (even if you edited it).
