Cannot create new showcase item

Whenever I try to make a new showcase item there is no button. And whenever I try going to here it says "You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action." Please help

This is likely because you're still a new user of the forum. Once you've been active for a while, you should have the ability to make Showcase pages.
