Using an Arpasing Voicebank that uses... Numbers?

Hi everyone.

I'm Articase and I'm new to using Utau.

I've started using the KYE Arpasing Voicebank but I'm finding it hard to use. Tuning is easy but it's hard to get him to sing words because all his recordings are in numbers ranging from 0 to 300. I haven't changed anything since.

Could someone advise on how I can fix this?

The recordings are supposed to be named by numbers. That's just how the reclist he uses works. If you look in the oto.ini, his aliases should look something like this.

You don't type in the numbers of the recordings to get him to sing part of a sample, you type in the alias. For instance, a word like "singer" would be put in as [- s][s ih][ih ng][ng er][er -]. UTAU will figure out what parts of what recording to reference using the oto.ini.
It's sort of like how a VCV voicebank might have a recording called "かかきかくけか", and then the aliases for that recording are "- か", "a か", "a き”, etc. etc. The only difference is these recording titles don't really clue you in to what's being said.

Thanks, but now he's just singing the vowels. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
