Hi there, I posted the original question in the wrong forum-section, oof...
Let's try that again then.
I'm fairly new to VCV voice banks, and I dipped my toes in the recording method for a few weeks now,
I have recorded a list, which has been oto-edited separately by two people (myself and a friend of mine)
I followed the usual tutorials on the oto-editing, the parameters of preutterance and overlap, aliassing etc.
I have tried the crossfades, reset envelopes, re-editing the files themselves, however, for some reason, the voice still refuses to make sound, and the sounds she does make sound garbled. And this happens to both my version of the edits, and my friend's version of the edits. And she knows far more about edits than me..
I have set locale to Japanese, re-installed the UTAU synth program itself, messed around with the oto-edits to no end, and I'm still at a loss what is causing it to not work properly.
Anyone have any ideas what the issues might be?
