There aren't very many how-to's when it comes to aviutl, but it's a really wonderful free video editor that I would be sad to see people overlook due to lack of tutorials.

Here are some examples of videos I've created in aviutl.

I intend to make short instruction videos covering basic topics about the program, but until I have the time to do so feel free to ask me anything and I will (hopefully) be able to answer.

Ah, I'm glad you've made a thread like this!! I've wanted to make tutorials before but I'm not very good at organization ;^^

And I agree, Aviutl is really awesome but there aren't much (in English, at least) tutorials so a lot of people may be too hesitant to try out the program. I've managed to learn how to use it but mostly from a long time spent just tapping random things xD

I'd love to see how this works out, and I'm willing to learn some new tricks/help if I can, too! ^^

((An example of something I managed to finish recently >< :

Ooh, awesome! It's nice to see other people using aviutl, too.

No one seems interested in it at this time but I want to keep this thread alive for future visitors who are wondering how to use it or what sort of program they can use as an alternative to Vegas/etc. I think I'm going to do an utauview tutorial (an UTAU screen capture program, example here), because as far as I know there isn't one in English. It actually isn't that hard to work after I fiddled around with it for a while the other day, but it's not exactly straightforward either.

Press the button on the bottom left to load your UST.
Use the slider uptop (the very very top, next to ファイルNo) to add another UST.
Switch the number from 1 to 2. Each number is its own UST.

I had a whole guide typed up on this but I hit the image limit, so I'm making it in video format instead. I'll get it uploaded later today and get back to you! It's a bit complicated.

Sorry, I forgot about this! I"ll upload a tutorial on it soon, it's easy once you know how to do it but it's a little tricky to figure out.

Hello! Can anybody help me? I wanted to play a clip in reverse but I can't seem to find anything that does the job. I found a Wikipedia page talking about a certain plug-in that reverses clips but there aren't any links and it lacks description.
