Icon Not Appearing in Utau?

I recently decided to add some icons to the utauloids I've made, since switching between them constantly leads to occasional mix-ups (I have, multiple times, rendered a file for the same utauloid twice). However, when I added the icons to the folders, they didn't show up in Utau itself.

The character.txt files have the following, each customized for the specific utauloid:
name=character name
sample=sample
author=author
image=icon.bmp

I have the .bmp files themselves named icon.bmp because otherwise I get an "invalid picture" message. The icons are each 39.1 KB and 100x100 pixels. The rest of the character.txt file information appears in Utau but not the icons. What's going on?

Ok your images MUST and I mean MUST be a 200x200 bit map image created from ms paint. If you use any other program/ sizes. Utau will not read the image. An the character.txt must say the follow

image=(images name).bmp
name=(utau name)
info:

If you don't do those few steps. Utau will not load your image file.

It's correct apart from the 200x200 part.
100x100 is the most favourable for UTAU, but you could have it any size.
Just beware of the weird trimming if it's not 100x100.

If i recall the program said it was 200x200 on some files when, i was trying to edit utau.exe files.

Even, if you put a high res image in that tiny box. I think the most you could realistic get from the utau profile window. Is maybe 360x360 but, chances are it may not work.

Tho i hear that most people prefer 200x200 res since, its the biggest stable resolution. Since, anything higher may not be visible.
