I don't care for an UTAU's appearance, more over the oto and voice. :) But now that I think about it... Mizube Wani and TATARI's designs are my favourites and they're quite unique.

Personally, I see designs as nothing to gripe at, unless it's a recolor. UTAU is a voice program, not an art program like GIMP or SAI, yes? So why be concerned with designs? I'll admit, I do tend to scoff to myself at all these cutesy Japanese-wannabe UTAU, but it's their design, therefore it's...

For girls, I'd have to say Misaki Choune, Hika Yume, and Tetsu Sharino have pretty nice CV voicebanks. As for boys, I'd say that Kenbara Aki, Haru Shonta, and Keito have good voicebanks. Keito is shonen though so... :3
