Problems with Various Resamplers skipping notes!

Hello! I apologize for posting 2 similar threads on a similar issue, but I feel like this time the problems I have are a little bit more detailed and varied than before, so I'm posting again! So I have a VCV voicebank and I'm currently using fresamp as my re-sampler!

This is what my first phrase sounds like with fresamp:

I was planning to use fresamp for this song, until I reached a snag in the chorus, where the notes are seemingly too high and I was getting a lot of distortion:
https://app.box.com/s/snnqmtari0wb8hp420x1gizfig7va038

I have no idea how to fix this but I have tried cleaning up noise from my audio, fixing freq maps etc. to no avail! (If you have any other suggestions please do let me know!)

So instead, I decided to switch to another resampler, assuming that fresamp just wasnt the right fit. And this is where I ran into more issues, because it seems like freasmp is the only resampler that can play my voicebank properly, every other resampler I have tried to replace it with, either skips notes or produces a really weird sound.

This is the exact same phrase, but with TIPS. It skips over some parts despite me changing nothing in the oto or ust: https://app.box.com/s/uupcrwofe9snqg42183ljz9ketk9aqpu

Using other resamplers such as tn_fnds, and moresampler produce the same results! with certain parts being skipped over (Moresampler detects and plays more notes than TIPS and tn_fnds does, but still doesnt detect all of them like fresamp)

The default UTAU resampler is able to detect all notes but presents another problem of there being very .. squiggly sounds, as if its being scratched by a DJ or something:
https://app.box.com/s/76oam6p6eool51rfawja4yh2qudadsgq

What I have tried is basically just, with and without flags, fitting the UST (Although this UST isn't pre-made and downloaded, its one I made!). Essentially my problem is, fresamp works great but give me distortion on high notes that I don't know how to fix + I can't use other resamplers because they don't detect certain notes and skip them over for some reason! If anyone knows why this is happening it'll be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!

Edit: If you also know how I could fix the distortion in the high notes with fresamp please do let me know as well!

What mic did you use to record the voicebank?

Listening to the chorus file, those last notes sound like they either have a bit of background noise or the samples are too quiet, maybe
By cleaning up the audio do you mean you used a denoise tool?

Also, maybe you should have a closer look at the notes/samples that aren't being played back.
Personally I've had a lot of problems with fresamp and TIPS myself, TIPS just plays back at a lower pitch for me and iirc fresamp skips over notes too
I like to use Moresampler for basically everything, but, as you said that even Moresampler skips notes, I would go into the voicebank or UST and have a closer look at those notes/samples just to be sure

With the default resampler it always has wobbly playback like that no matter what bank you use, it's a crappy resampler

Hello! Thank you so much for the reply! I use a RODE NT1A, I do vocal covers normally (wanted to try out UTAU!) and am a mixer in that field so I'm pretty confident in my audio clean-up! And yes I cleaned up the audio using Izotope RX (De-click, Spectral De-noise etc.!)

I have looked into the otos of the notes being skipped but I can't identify anything particularly weird with them! Here is the oto/ust of one of the notes (a が) that is being skipped over! :

Moresampler does skip significantly less notes. but I can't figure out how to fix the notes that it does skip!

EDIT: I fixed the issue of the high notes sounding really weird! Turns out it was caused by an "L" flag, when I removed it the weird noise disappeared!! I had used a combination of flags suggest by others and didn't realize I could remove them one by one to try and see if that fixed it, but it worked when I did!

Cool!
Did that manage to fix the notes that weren't being played as well?
In my last post I was actually going to say check the flags of the notes that weren't being played, but then I read that you checked the flags and tested the UST with and without them so I thought maybe that wasn't the issue
btw I heard some good stuff about Izotope, maybe I'll try it out eventually, handy little tool to have in audio production~

Unfortunately no! A good portion of my resamplers are still skipping over notes! I tested with and without flags for the first phrase to see if it helped the skipping and somehow didn't think to do it for the chorus as well as they were two separate issues!

And yes I love Izotope!! I don't think I've ever finished a mix without their plugins (clean-up or otherwise) on them!!

Strange... do you mind uploading the voicebank and linking the UST you're working with? Maybe having a second person playing with the bank will help in finding the problem.
