I'm wanting to have a Gachapoid-esque vocal but I don't know if I am ready to commit to buying.

I don't think that they are the closest to sounding like Gachapoid, but they are the only ones that I can think of - Kyoryu, who may not be the closest match and Haruka Nana, yeah, really.
