Tempo Question

I began working on a song, but I never changed the tempo from 120. It fits in time, but I saw somebody else mention that the song was in 160 BPM. Should I be worried that the tempos are different even if they still line up? And if so is there an easy way to fix this?

To get from 120 to 160, multiply by 1.333

Yep! The notes pretty much all follow common lengths when you work at the right tempo.
