Sorry for such short notice, but the amount of applications has lessened greatly, and as a team we've nearly finalized our choices! If you have yet to apply, the time to do so is now! We are still deciding if we want to message rejected applicants, but we most likely will figure out a method of letting everyone know who's in and who's not. You may apply for all 3 if you'd like! This year is the year that UHP tries more experimental projects, and we hope to be more active and entertaining than before! If you have any questions about anything at all, feel free to ask! <3 There are further details in the forms as well! *EDIT #1* UHP APPLICATIONS – FAQ Q: Are there deadlines for the applications? A: The applications will be open for a month! They will close on the 22nd of April! But within that time, you can edit your submissions and add/remove anything that you’ve already sent in! There’s no rush! Q: Is it possible to do one-time participation in the project? I'd like to try it out, but I don't exactly want to sign everything on it. A: This is fine! You don’t have to apply in order to do a one-time collaboration. However, you will not be considered a member of UHP, but you will be credited for whatever work you’ve done in that specific project. These are more like requests, so there’s no guarantee that the request will be accepted! Q: If we apply do we have to do all the things listed in the application? (For example, I can tune/mix but can't create USTs, and I can provide art but not animation, etc.) A: Of course not! The applications are for general reference, not specific reference! -Tuning includes everything from making USTs to being a voice provider for a VB. It’s not limited to UTAU/Vocaloid either! Any vocal synth is welcome! -Art/Animation is art in general, from drawing to creating MMD models! -Music covers music in general, any audio related work or composition. (This includes mixing, mastering, vocals, lyrics, even simply making MIDIs, etc.) Even if you are unsure, just fill out the form! We’re looking for anything you feel you can offer! Q: Is the purpose of this project only realistic tuning? Do the members have to constantly experiment on ways to make UTAUloids sound more human? A: UHP used to be about experimenting with tuning and whatnot, but now we are expanding to become more of music/media group. We now make things like original songs, art, and create UTAU voicebanks. We've also expanded to other voice synthesizers like Vocaloid and Cevio. Q: Do you have to be available at all times? Especially for me, as a student, I would get rather busy until holiday and stuff. A: We do our best to cater to every member’s schedule, so there's always a lot of time to work on projects. We rarely ever give deadlines. Time management and issues like that are very understandable; we are in school too! We get it! Any time you're available is when you are available! If you're working on something for the project, you can take breaks and work as you feel you should. As long as it isn't too unreasonable, like being inactive for an excessive amount of time when asked to do something and/or not having an explanation. Q: How long until results of new members come out? A: The results of the new members will slowly start to come after the end of this week. We will have the applications open for a month, until the 22nd of April. There are a few applicants that we know for sure we've accepted, and there are a few we feel need further evaluation before we make a decision. So for those individuals, they should receive emails and additional info throughout next week. A week or so after the 22nd of April, we will post the public list of members who got accepted! If you don't get an email by the 22nd, it doesn't mean you weren't accepted! It could mean that we didn't make a decision until after the final vote.
