He was abandoned by his parents at the age of 7 along with his little brother Sago. He was adopted by an elderly couple and learned how to repair machines.
He’s had to work hard to support his little brother and sickly adoptive aunt ever since his adoptive uncle died of old age. On the side, he repairs the robotic companions of the people of his district, but can’t bring himself to charge for it.
Due to his abrasive behavior in his early preteen years hurting others around him, he changed his personality completely and strives to always be positive and kind to everyone. Appears happy but occasionally has severely depressive episodes due to the stress of working hard and being abandoned when he was so young. He tries his best to hide it.
His design is based-off the steampunk aesthetic and purple yams (ube).
Ube-kun is just his nickname. His real name is Jouleon Romeo Vult. His younger half-brother, nicknamed Sago, is named Darius Vult.
