Hello,

I just have a bug wich appens each time a hiragani encoded UTAU sings. The thing is that it can't use resemplers ! I must check "use resempler.dll" but I want to use TIPS.exe either it sound horibly bad ! And why does it works with romaji encoded UTAUs ?
And yes I have set local to japenese.

Well, you should use only one resampler for one voicebank, either hiragana or romaji voicebank, except if you use more than 1 resampler for the voicebank, you might want to try this (but beware). Also, if you don't like this option, you should try to change some settings on UTAU software. If you use UTAU v0.4.18e, consider trying this (so you can use TIPS.exe without hassle):

Go to Tools(T) >> Option(O)... >> Rendering >> leave the "Use resampler.dll for rendering" box blank (don't put the tick into the box, just leave it blank)

Also, can you post the screenshot for me? I need to see the real problem happening on UTAU. :/

Hmm...well...

  • Try to check "resampler.dll" box. Tool2 box will be automatically grayed out so you will be unable to use TIPS.exe. Then, try to select some notes (or whole notes) on the UST file and click the "play" button (the one with blue triangle), or
  • Try typing "TIPS.exe" (just like the original file name) instead "tips.exe", or
  • Try to test the voicebank using other resamplers, including "resampler.exe". I should be known that some voicebanks work very well with TIPS.exe, some don't.
I hope these will be helpful to you.

Adding on to what @Lorreine Geralde said, you should also play around with the flag settings. I recommend using no flags, at least once, and hearing how it sounds. Then changing it to fit your voicebank.

Every of your tips(lol) doesn't work/has been already done and

It is why the topic is for .-.

Okay. Try this.
Copy and paste any files(usts, voicebanks, resamplers) you wish to keep into another folder, that's not UTAU. Uninstall utau from programs under the control panel. Now re-install utau, I recommend 4.18e version. Then copy the files you put into the other folder and put it into the UTAU folder. Now retry using the resamplers. Also I recommend when you re-install UTAU not to put under Program Files or Programs Files (x86) because of the permission issues, instead put it under Documents.

Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimal_mark#Hindu.E2.80.93Arabic_numeral_system
If your computer is listed in the countries using Arabic numerals with decimal comma then do
as shown in around the 1:20 mark (just ignore the not using Japanese locale part as you are correctly using it as we observe the yen sign as directory separator).
Err, also clear the cache (select all notes, right click, clear cache). It may happen the cache saved for that particular ust is full of silences and you need to re-render.

The problem is that it won't sing with any ust ! When there is just one hiragani, it won't sing...

If you haven't the dot/comma issue (a problem that you'll have if you're from places like France, French Canada, etc) then it may have to do with an issue of the frq files as other resamplers need extra configuration files.
It may happen that they can't be made because there is an administrator issue (it's a common issue for new Windows OS even if you think you're running the computer with full privileges).

To prevent that you can do one of the solutions given in http://utaforum.net/threads/help-ut...-the-voicebank-thats-in-my-voice-folder.5758/

I do prefer changing the voice directory out of program files as Adlez27 suggests.
Let me remind here how you do it:
1)Create the new folder that will have the voicebanks from here on.
2)Open UTAU and click Tools(T)->Options(O)...
3)Select the Path tab, check the box of "Change voice root directory" and paste the name/browse th folder you want to use ("C:\Documents and Settings\***\Mis documentos\UTAU\voice" is my case)
4)Close UTAU and copy there your voicebank folders.

Now as extra measure you may want to delete the old frequency files. The easiest way is to short the files by type and delete everything that is not .wav, .txt, oto.ini or .bmp.
You may want to make a copy of the folder first and copy it to a safe place to avoid deleting a sample by mistake.

Should I take it like "LOCAL IN JAPENESE / WRITE IN JAPENESE JERK !" ? Because it's what I think. And it doesn't help me at all.

here it is

EDIT: woops, forgot to precise that it don't work with ALL UTAU

So, I've just downloaded the voicebank, testing it with TIPS and bkh01 resamplers (I change the system locale to Japanese on Windows 7 Ultimate anyway) and...it works. You say that it sounds disgusting and it's true...because the real problem is you don't even configure the voicebank completely. This is the real problem I've seen on UTAU software:

no_oto_ini_otl_by_lorreinegeralde-d8aihqa.jpg

The voicebank needs a complete, nice oto.ini (voicebank configuration data) so it can sing properly. Without oto.ini, the voicebank will sound disgusting. Try to see this:

oto_ed_ver_by_lorreinegeralde-d8aiku4.jpg

Can you see the difference between these images? Voice sample that is not configured/oto-ed has white area at the whole part and if you play the UST with unconfigured voicebank, it will sound unpleasant and disgusting while the configured voice sample has some pink and blue parts, together with bright green and red lines placed within the voice wave shape, and configured voicebank work very well in the UST. Don't worry, I will try to configure your UTAU voicebank, though.

Yes but it don't work with all UTAUs as I said so the reason is not here (and in my UTAU the "a", "i", "e" and "u" sounds really bad and I tried to rerecord them but nothing)

And really thanks for configuring my voice babk :creepy:
