You can help expand the ARPAsing website to a worldwide audience!

This GitHub repository contains all the plain English text of the website. Anyone can add or edit translations, and these will be manually added to the ARPAsing website.

To help speakers of your language with recording English voicebanks, you can also add example words to the phoneme chart and write some pronunciation advice on the Voicebank Creation page.

As announced in the main news thread, Soursop's Indonesian translation has now been uploaded to the website.
While working on it, I realized a difficulty I had with transferring the text. On some pages, I highlight specific words to be bolded, or to be links to other pages. However, it was difficult to know which words they were in translation.

The currently updated text now puts {curly braces} around special words. If you are working on a translation and have downloaded the old version, please redownload it now. Please make sure to put curly braces around the words specified so that I can set links or bold text.

I would like to extend the availability of the Arpasing website and its resources to those who speak other languages. However, this is a job I can't do alone. Are there any volunteers willing to help translate it? It's alright for more than one translator to collaborate on the same language.

Here is the plain text download of the whole website. https://vocalsynth.cloud/a852b8bf06e69ef9
Feel free to translate the file and folder names as well. I will handle the formatting when it's uploaded to the website.

I would also like for translators to add an additional section to the Voicebank Creation tutorial about how to pronounce English phonemes, for non English speakers.

Yes, if you'd like to translate to Italian, then you can go ahead. Should I add you to the list of translators?

I've done a little bit of tidying up on the website, as well as added a new page. The differences are in index.txt, resources.txt, and vccv-ust-converter.txt. If you're a translator, please redownload the text files for these updates.

Sorry for updating again in the same day. I made some edits to resources.txt, usage-w-assistant.txt, and I finished writing the new vccv-to-arpasing.txt page. The current download link in the first post should reflect these changes.

I've updated the text files. There is now a bit of text on the UST tutorials and voicebank tutorial that links to the phoneme chart.
